Project Overview
Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSP) and starting in September 2023, TANZ West Northants is a two-year Net Zero project designed to empower local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across West Northants to understand and embrace the concept of “Net Zero.” Our mission is clear: to raise awareness of net zero and guide businesses toward concrete actions that will advance West Northamptonshire Council’s target of achieving Net Zero by 2045.
Key Objectives
- Boost Awareness: Our primary goal is to increase awareness of Net Zero within the SME community in West Northants. By doing so, we aim to rally businesses behind the overarching target of attaining Net Zero by 2045.
- Quantifiable Emission Reduction: We don’t just stop at awareness; we’re committed to delivering measurable results. Through this project, SLIPAH will support participating businesses to achieve quantifiable and demonstrable reductions in their carbon emissions.
